The new 5.4 Cobra R and Lincoln Navigator 32 valve engines are only now becoming available in late spring of 1999.
 
We have been involved in the development process of the engines with Ford and are aware of their strengths and weaknesses.  The great majority of our components that have been developed for the 4.6 engines are also used on the 5.4.  We have been working on modifications and improvements specifically for the 5.4 and these are very strong street machines.  We are currently offering Level II and Level III 5.4's, however it has not proven itself in competition as the 4.6 has. We feel that the 5.4 has a ways to go before it will replace the 4.6 as the better engine. Nevertheless, the 5.4 does have the stroke to make lots of torque and is a formidable street engine. It should be very strong in the coming year.
